July 9th Hay Unloading Party

by admin on June 14, 2011

Hay Day is here again! Please join us at 9:30am on July 9th for an all hands update meeting followed by our Hay Unloading Party. We should be done by 11am at the latest.

Bring a snack and get ready for a great workout! It’s a lovely way to enjoy your morning, a great way to help the community, and a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends!

You’ll be able to:

– See the horses and their beautiful home

– Learn more about the project

– Meet members of our volunteer and management teams

– Help our mission of partnering horses and humans for healing!

How to RSVP:

Please email Gary Adler if you plan to attend. Let Gary know if you are bringing a dolly to help unload the hay. Your teen and adult family and friends are also invited. Strong men and women are especially needed!

Additionally, you can RSVP to the open event on Facebook. Click here to view the event and select “Attending.” Then make a post on the wall to let us know if you are bringing a dolly to help unload the hay.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Dress code: Closed toe shoes are required. Gloves, long pants, long sleeve shirts, sunglasses and eye protection are recommended.

Can I bring my grandson?

Our volunteers generally must be 18 or older. However, if your grandson is at least 13 years old and both parents sign a liability waiver on his behalf (you can download the form off our volunteer page of our website), we would love to have him come out and learn more about our project and its mission to partner horses and humans for healing!
